Coveyou Scenic Farm Market Hayrides and U-Pick Apples/Pumpkins
Get Your Fall On At Coveyou Scenic Farm Market, Site of Northern Michigan’s Most Scenic Hayride
The cool, crisp days of fall have arrived in Northern Michigan, and up-north nature is ready for its most spectacular show of the year. Full, glorious color is popping from every direction, and the best way to enjoy it is the old-fashioned way: by hayride!
Coveyou Scenic Farm Market is now offering hourly hayrides from 12-4 p.m. Saturdays and Sundays through the end of October. Large group scheduling is also available by reservation.
These are not your average hayrides! From the farm’s location overlooking Walloon Lake, the open-air ride combs the rolling hills, offering views of one of the world’s most beautiful lakes and its treasured shoreline in full color. The vintage farm trailer and tractor runs through Coveyou orchards, into wooded territory and onto the pumpkin patch, where photos of pumpkin picking set against Walloon can’t be beat.
Speaking of photos, capture your annual shot of the kids in front of the Family Tree and Great Pumpkin Ruler.
That’s not all! For the first time in the Centennial Farm’s history, the public is invited to pick their own honeycrisp apples in the hilltop orchard. And, as always, Coveyou Scenic Farm remains the largest grower of garden mums in Northern Michigan, which look beautiful alongside Coveyou corn stalks, straw bales and gourds.
Your visit to Coveyou Secenic Farm won’t be complete without cider, donuts and other fall treats.
Hayrides are $6 per person, $10 with the pumpkin of your choice in the field. Kids 3 and under are $5 with a pumpkin, free without.
Visit CoveyouScenicFarm.com or call 231-347-0011 for more information.
